Puzzle · Everyone / 4+

One route fits. Trace the escape.

A fugitive left the bakery at 21:40 and was hidden by 22:30. Somewhere in the city is the one route they took. Rebuild it ride by ride, by bike, metro, taxi and ferry, and make the arrest at the safe house.

The long version

Every case opens as a file on the desk: the caper, a portrait stamped On the Run, where they set off and when, and the time they were in hiding by. Then the evidence. Nonna Pia saw them at the market at 22:05. The station camera saw nobody all night. A dropped glove turned up at the lighthouse. The travel card shows exactly two taxi rides.

Tap a place linked to the start and the trail grows one ride at a time, a red string across the map. The game does the arithmetic, every ride's minutes, every wait at the ferry pier, every arrival on the clock. The thinking is yours. Cross out the places they never passed, tap a card to light up the places it talks about, and tick it once you have used it.

They never rest, so each ride leaves the moment they arrive. Ferries keep a timetable, so a rider waits at the pier. They never visit the same place twice, and they hide at the first safe house they reach. That is the whole rulebook, and the game tells you all of it.

Every clue is true

A case is dealt only after every legal route has been walked and checked. Exactly one fits, and every card is needed to find it.

A new city every case

Each case builds its own streets, metro lines and safe houses, often with a river and a few bridges.

Four ranks to earn

Rookie is nine places and one metro line. Chief is eighteen places, two lines and the whole evidence locker.

Case 12 is case 12

The same case number deals the same city on every phone, so two players can compare notes.

What this game uses

Nothing yet. Pista is not published, and its advertising and analytics backends are not wired up, so a build made from it today embeds no third-party services at all. This list fills in when they are, and the Privacy Policy is generated from the same place, so the two cannot disagree.
